So I decided to go ahead and upload another project I thought was a pretty cool idea. I saw a guy with one and thought “I can make that better!” So I gave it a shot.
The main wood is maple. The inlays are either dark walnut, poplar, or mahogany. The back is just a standard belt buckle hoop and hook type of system.
What you guys think?
Thanks for looking!

Those are cool. I had some backs left over from some lapidary work and made a couple of wooden buckles using some small pieces of figured walnut. Yours turned out really good with the inlay.

OK, new project idea. I’ll never get completely caught up as long as you guys keep giving me new ideas. That’s a good thing. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Gator belly boots are awesome…they are Lucchese. Pick yourself up some! Super comfortable.
