Here is my version of the Roubo bookstand made famous to woodworkers by Roy Underhill. Mine is made from pine and sports a little carving to dress it up. I stained it with a walnut stain to give it some colour. I enjoyed making this project and look forward to making another.

If I saw that in some old Norwegian museum, I would think it was 200 years old. It’s beautiful. Nice job. I remember seeing the program where Roy made one and it’s been on my back burner to do list for a long time.

Love it. Has a very cool vintage look and the carving looks great and adds some nice textures. Great job! Looking forward to more.
