a wee box made for a wee baby
i used ceder as it was aromatic and light weight
the main moulding was done (pic 4 ) using a chop saw with depth stop and a health amount of stupidity for good measure…
took a day to make…(8 hours ish)
letters and dates i used a scalple which i sharpened even further….

The coved sides & the feet are nice details.

A very nice box it’s sure to become a family treasure. Great job on the lettering too.

It looks great, like the design especially the curved corners and the feet. Well done!

it was intresting to do the curved sides….especialy with a chopsaw….its not the safest method….but you et good results if you only have limited tooling
