Had some scraps of wood I got from a friend at a hardwood lumber plant. Always wanted to make balancers so I gave it a try. Made 4 out of different species/colors of wood. I know I won’t use them. Maybe Christmas presents?

Nice choice of woods. They would make great gifts for friends. What angles did you cut the top and bottom at?

Just a 45 degree angle. Nothing fancy.

Does this work on any bottle or just wine bottles? Looks like the weight would change once you drank some of the wine. Just wondering.

Every bottle acts differently. You have to find the sweet spot on the bottles for balancing. It’s not practical storage for me anyways as I don’t drink. Just something fun.
