This was a fun project that my son and I worked on during his visit. A horse stall sign. Walnut and Cherry. It is about 6” X 16” and finished with tung oil and several coats of deft lacquer. Do you think the horse will know where he belongs now?

Nicely done! But, don’t count on the horse paying too much attention to anything other than his ration of oats?

Very nice John. Wonderful use of negative space. That’s a gorgeous piece of cherry. The brown tones are complemented well by the walnut.

I like it John.
Letters are the hardest thing to cut. No mistake will go unnoticed.
Predictably, that’s exactly how many you made. .... none.

Great sign, the combination of woods you used really make it….. as well as the cutting of the letters like Paul said.

Very cool sign. If the horse can’t read yet, he will know where he belongs by the picture!!

Good looking sign! Like the gorgeous woods use, beautifully cut horse design and letters. A great project to spend quality time with son. Way to go!
