Inspired "Pen"dants and a pen

As I mentioned in my previous blog. I have startted to play a bit more and experiment at the lathe thanks to some recent postings by William. Here you see some of the outcomes of my recent experiments.
Pic 1 is Holly with a Blue Dyed Veneer that I dyed. Same veneer that was in the last post but dyed.
Pic 2 is a piece of Birch I think with a 1/4” Walnut dowel put through it.
Pic 3 Zebra wood bandless pen. I like the way it turned out but have one more thing to do to this style. I’ll post more later on that.
Pics 4,5 are inspired in a different way. These came from the same wood as the box posted earlier Red Oak. They to will go to my coworker.
Pic 6 is a piece of I think Thunder Plum. The detail was first cut in with the parting tool then Burned very heavily using another piece of wood.

Nice work, you should make some out of acrylic pen blanks those would look nice also.
Where did you get the fitting from?
