Some Recent Work.......

So, I’ve been playing with the lathe a little more lately…...these are a few commissioned pieces (except the cedar bowl, it’s a gift for a wood delivery). Not sure what woods are contained in the stoppers and cheese boards, they are made from the pre-milled kits at WoodCraft…..I think there is maple, ash, walnut, and not sure about the reddish wood, but it was really fuzzy when I sanded it. The bowl is red cedar delivered from a co-worker. The pepper grinder is spalted honey locust that I removed from my ex-mother-in-law’s property several years ago following a storm.

Thanks for looking,

They are all beautiful. Like the woods, have very nice grain patterns and the finish made them really pop. Love the cedar bowl. Great job!
