I have done a number of these scroll saw portraits, but this is my favorite. It is always a delicate balance between detail and cutting ability. The more detail equals very delicate cuts which sometimes are too hard to achieve. This one balanced out nicely. I think starting with a black and white photo also helped. Measures 12 X 16, cut from 1/8” oak plywood (3/0 spiral blade) and framed in common pine with ebony stain. Thanks for looking!
