Made entirely from found lumber on this bench. 54 inches wide and very sturdy. Tried something different on this and used a recycled bicycle inner tube on part of the top (the black striped section). In person it just gives it a different kind of look/feel. Added a couple metal wire baskets for storage and a couple other metal accents. Overall pretty happy with it.

Awesome build! Lots of guys don’t like the distressed stuff, but I find it very appealing. You example here is an excellent one.

Wonderful timbers… You allowed them to tell their story by not planing and refinishing them. Very nicely done!

It looks good and solid. Like the distressed look of it. Great use of recycled materials. Well done!
