A cigar pen kit turned from some more stock acquired through Rockler. The lone pen shot shows some of the contour work achieved for the finger grip area, but I didn’t like the color/contrast of the image. So I took a pic of it inside a bowl recently turned my my better half. This definitely shows off the dark and light contrasts in the wood.

What kind of wood is it? The pen has a very sophisticated, businesslike look to it.

It looks classy and elegant. Like the shape, great fit and finish. Great job!

If I remember correctly the wood should have been Bocote. it’s from a Penn-State industries mix purchse. the kit was a cigar pen kit from Woodcraft.
