First time I’ve tried this method of painting and it work, everybody that has seen it so far wants to buy it. Unfortunately this one is not for sale, it is mine! The black paint is edge primer and still lets the grain of the wood show and then highlighted with a copper craft paint and wiping it to get the worn look. I’m very happy with this one!!! :-)
Second photo shows it next to one that I made from old fascia-board from my roof that was replaced. Both woods is up-cycled.

-- Create, create, create create. It makes my blood flow. And what better material to use than wood, you can repeat the same object 1000 times and none will look the same in natural form.

Those are awesome. Sounds like you are going to have to make more to sell!

They look good, like the distressed look. Great reuse of the woods. You have to make more.
