This is a bonsai stand I finished a few months ago. Made with some cherry leftovers from a different project. This project came from an issue of American Woodworking magazine, although I had to scale it down to fit my bonsai tree and pot. The stand in the magazine was quite large at about 30” in length. The dimensions of mine are 10” long, 8 1/2” wide and 2 3/4” tall. Finish was some General’s gel polyurethane.

Very nice design and construct—good luck with your Bonsai.

Nice adaptation. Great use of the wood.
