In my usual weird sense of humor way, my first thought was, “OK, now how do you hang that in a tree?” Seriously though, I am really curious to know more about this. It is certainly quite different that what one usually thinks of when someone says birdhouse.

That is so cool. Is there sheeting (roof/walls) under the ceanothus branches?
What makes a guy build a birdhouse like this?

Cool huge birdhouse and love the organic look especially the roof made of branches. Great work!
