Office folks went together and bought a barrel of whiskey. Also bought the barrel. In order to have a Friday gathering spot I thought we could make the barrel into a bar height table. Used qtr sawn white oak for the top and had office “coin” lasered into white oak pieces. Inlayed the pieces into top and finished it with many coats of gel poly and armor seal poly. Added base with wheels to make it mobile then designed the top to be removed so we could wheel it through doors.

Great job, added to Fav’s…. I have a close friend that owns a Vineyard here in Southern California I might have to make one for. Thx for sharing!

Nicely done. “Whiskey for my men, and beer for my horses!”

Very cool and great looking table! Like the use of the barrel and the casters. Very nice inlays on top. Great job!
