This is a coffee table/Shadow box that I made for my wife. As I am so good at, being new to woodworking, this project turned out to be just a little harder than I first thought it would be. (Evidently a box is not so simple after all.)
But it was fun nonetheless. And as I’m learning after I make something, it is also very gratifying & rewarding to see what I’m capable of with newly learned skills!
My wife provided the sand and some of the sea shells. My daughter and I provided some of the sea shells and coral from a trip to Puerto Rico earlier this year.

Its cool, shabby chic, one of a kind. And you can change the scenery when it gets old.

wow.. Very nice Coffee table/Shadow.The coffee table is one of the items of furniture that can be found in almost every home in the world. It’s a piece that sits in the center and automatically catches your eye. Lately it has become more of a decorative element that a functional one.
