This is a Christmas present I made for my mom. I started by sketching it out on a piece of scrap wood, and this is the end result.

You just gave me the best idea. My wife bought a canister a few years back that had a wooden coffee scoop. In those more prosperous time, we sometimes utilized the services of a cleaning lady. My wife swears she stole the wooden scoop. I have my doubts about her theory. In any case, a replacement scoop with a touch of flair could rectify this perpetuating catastrophe.
Yours is a very pretty example.
