So for a while now my girlfriend has been asking me if i could make her something that she could use to store all of her shoes. after a few weeks of CAD drawings she finally picked this design. the build took around three weeks of on/off work. I am happy with the finished result but more importantly she is too.

I would picked up a used box truck if my wife asked me to make something to hold her shoes in ;)

Nice work. Solid brownie points to boot.

I like it except I don’t understand the door casing trim. I think it would look much better without it

I decided on the casing because I was attempting to hide some bad case joints. I’m still new to the cabinet making so I’m not the greatest at making them look good.

I totally need to make one of these…. for my daughter! I am not a shoe girl. I own like 5. I’d rather buy tools or wood :)

Thanks for sharing. I would like to make one for her. Maybe if I show her the pic she will get excited about it and want to help make it with me.
