My wife already has some homemade spool holders for the thread that she uses most but she likes to collect the old wooden ones (not in pic) which were just sitting in a box, and she had some free wall space so time to make some dust. Had a piece of pegboard with a crack running down the face but still useful as a template, clamped it down to some ¼” ply and drilled away at about 7 degrees. Added the dowels and tacked into the frame which is made out of oak. I know this is more craft than woodwork but the wife was real happy and I thought I’d share in case any-out-there in lumber land had someone who’d sewed.
