I was cleaning out my scrap box one day, when my buddy ask me, what are you going to do with those pieces. The door to the woodburner was already open!! He said, why don’t you make something out of them. This is what I made. He commented, that is a work of art, my wife countered with, they look like pieces from your scrap box. She must have liked it though, because it is still setting on the table under the TV. What does everyone else do with scrap like this?? Thanks for looking.

I used to keep those pieces until you just could not get a saw on them. Now, I got boxes of them under my wife’s potting bench next to my shed, waiting for a nice autumn night with the firepit. At some point, I just got tired of digging through it all. Still have a scrap pile, but of larger pieces or expensive wood I know I will use. The rest gets pretty much tossed.

That is a very interesting looking work of ART. Just goes to show what can be done with little pieces. Love it.
