I needed a drill press table in my Work shop.
It is approx. 24” wide by 16” deep. I used Birch ply and trimmed it out with 1×3 poplar. The fence was made with 1/2 and 3/4 ply. And of course I snazzed it up with some t-tracks from Rockler. The second picture shows 1of2 pieces of 3/4 ply with a rabbet allowing me to slide the table on to the drill table. Also shown is one of two securing screws from the bottom; it’s not going anywhere.
The last thing I plan to do is sink a replaceable hard wood insert. That way if it get’s chewed up, I can pop it out and drop another in.

I love this project! Clean and simple. I think youll like having a replaceable insert too for when that one gets too chewed up. I recently got a drill press and one of my first projects is going to have to be a table like this one. Kudos.

Awesome build man. A drill press table is one of my next projects. There are so many great design ideas here to work from. Thanks for posting.

I like this table, but it stimulates a desire to commit plagiarism.
