I made this for DiAnn the lovely wife of my good friend Bill. As mentioned previously Bill is largely responsible for any success I have achieved on using a CNC. He has always been there to help keep me between the lines. I can not count the times I have had to call with a problem and he always came through. Bill makes very high end chess boards and Amboyna is a favorite material, too valuable for a wood butcher like me. Bill had given me some scraps a few months back and I finally got the courage to use it in a project. I had some Claro Walnut and decided to make a clutch for DiAnn. I think the two woods work well together.

You are WAY beyond the “wood butcher” stage. That is just beautiful and those woods are super together.
