I built this bookcase for my wife’s book collection, the first “big” project in our first home. 3/4” oak plywood for the sides and shelves and solid oak for the face. I put a dado in the sides to accommodate the shelves. Finished with satin polyurethane. Even though it isn’t fully stocked there is still another box full of books… I see another one of these in my future.

Thanks for looking!

Howdy MT. That’s a fine looking book shelf. Nice attention to detail. Good clean lines. Well

It looks great and sturdy, a great home for the book collection. I’m sure wife likes it and will want more. Great job!

MT, it turned out very nicely and you did a fine job on it.
