Live Edge Freeform Ash & Oak End Table / Bench. This piece measures 17 inches tall, with a 16 to 17” wide top & is 29” long. Ash Slab Top is 1.75 thick ~ 1.5 thick Oak legs ~ low profile Maple log braces. Clear Satin Spar Urethane finish.

Ted,
I am i the middle of designing a very similar peice for my wife. I wonder if you could comment on the ash top. The Ash I have still has the bark attached and I am debating the best way to remove it yet keep the live edge. I know that had I been able to harvest the log in the winter removing the bark would have been easier however it was a deadfall. My plan is to use a draawknife to remove the majority of the bark but perhaps you have a better suggestion?
