Hey again! So this is my first attempt at building a piece of furniture, I read a lot of books and I decided that they needed an actual home, they’ve sat for years in a stack on top my dresser or wherever else I could find some empty space for them but now they have a nice new bookcase!

The top, sides, and shelves are all made of pine. The trim is poplar and was part of an old cabinet that was taken out of my dining room which was panted white, once I cleaned it off it turned out to be rather nice looking. The backer board believe it or not is 5mm underlayment for flooring that had a nice wood grain to it and makes a pretty good backdrop for the bookcase.

Dimensions are 24” high x 24” wide x 12” deep.

Let me know what you guys think.
