Housewarming Glider

Son #2 just bought a new house and needs “something” on the front porch. This glider will be that something. The plans for this project came from Wood Magazine and their Graceful Glider project. Although calling for cedar I made this with pine I already had and the swingarms are handmade of 1/8” x 1” steel bar. My lovely bride picked out the cross.

Picture #3 has nothing to do with the project but grandson #1 was vacuuming under my saw and felt he had created another Grand Canyon…I can see that.

Great looking and well made glider, makes a great gift and I’m sure it’s greatly appreciated. They will enjoy it for a long time. Great job!
