I made this for my two daughters. The wife got the plans off of pintrest, which was from Anna White. Not a difficult bed to make, and is very sturdy.

I’m sure your daughters think their dad is great! Did you sand the heck out of it, and round the corners? Is theire a finish on it?

I made this same one, probably from the same plans. I posted it on here a few weeks ago. Nice job!

I did sand the heck out of it (down to 220) but i did not have a router at the time so i did not round it out. It is alright though, my girls are pretty mellow. The wife asked for the project so she gets to do the final stain on it, which she has not done yet.

Good! Make sure you get a pre stain sealer to apply before staining. Makes a world of difference in outcome, especially on fir or pine.

Do you have any suggestions as to which ones work better? And thank you for the advice.
