Just love it!
The color of the wood just poppes out with the oil finish!
What kind of oil did you use?

I love it! Especially the contrast between sapwood and heartwood.
I’m planning to do something like this, could you please enlighten me on how you put this together?
Thanks,
Marcel

Hi Marcel,
I started with a drawing of my mattress dimensions then I drew out the basic dimensions of the frame. Got some 4/4 cherry and started to cut the pieces on my table saw to match the drawing. The mattress sits in the frame about 4 inches. I used pine slats for the part that holds up the mattress. I used the Festool Domino machine, glue, and clamps to put the pieces together. Sorry my explanation is terrible because I mostly “winged” it.
