There is not much to say about it, it’s made from walnut, and batu. It holds those small tea candles.

Beautifully figured wood and a great design ! What finish did you use on it ?

The finish is BLO, pure Tung oil, and high gloss poly mixed in thirds. I think there was about 5-6 coats. The shap was kinda dictated by the material. Te initial curve was made due to me having to cut the large crack away.

Nice recipe : ) I enjoy making things out of whatever the shape of the wood is as well. Haven’t made anything to rival this project though : )

It looks fantastic. Like the wavy design. The wood has some pretty figures and finish. Great work!
