I started this project because I need a cabinet to hold some accessories for my lathe. A friend and I harvested this wood a few years ago and I thought this would be a good project to use some of it, since it was just going to be hanging in my shop holding some tools and stuff. Well, it turned out a little better than I expected and now I don’t have the heart to hang it in the shop so I’ll have to make another cabinet. I guess it’s a good excuse to make some more sawdust!

Thanks! It’s made out of spalted silver maple with black cherry sides and top.

It’s a nice rustic piece. Congratulations.
