Cock fighting chair

Project by Les Hastings posted 496 days ago 1509 views 3 times favorited 13 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a repoduction of an old cock fighting chair. I made three of these for a client. They are made out Walnut and poplar. Its a chair they originally made to watch cock fights way back when. You sit in them backwards and the wings on the top become the arm rests.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice looking chairs. Did you upholster them also? Thank you for sharing.

Interesting piece of furniture… I’m not sure how many I could use, but I’m betting they are fun to build!

Now lets talk about the floor the chair is displayed upon… now THATS wood!!

Both are great – thanks for putting them up to view.

Great job on the chair.

Sounds painful to me though.

Sort of reminds me of my days in Kentucky.

Amazing work, but that’s what we’ve come to expect!

That’s strange. In the Philippines, nobody sits down when a cockfight is on :-)
