Similar to previous projects just added a few more pictures to show the components. It always amazes me how attractive a project can be when mixing and matching different woods. Obviously some work very well together.

Very nice!! Would really like to understand what is keeping the top on/how much space is in the “box” ? Very cool use of the various woods… Thanks for sharing…

Dan,
There are two ring magnets in both the top and the bottom, you can see the detail in one of the pics on the red purse. The cord passes through the magnets and basically lines up the top and bottom until the very very strong magnets take over. Surprisingly and nicely secure.
Actually quite a bit of room, not big enough to be a catch all but certainly sufficiently roomy enough for a nite out or so the ladies tell me.

Very attractive indeed, totally an eye candy. Like the wood color combo and finish. Great job!
