This is a ring made from Corian (Not wood) Like what they make counter tops out of.
It is made from a blue and white Corian, This Ring is very cool. This ring is about 6.3 mm wide.
I little while back I asked my good friend and fellow Lumberjock, Jim Jakosh if he could cut and send me some of this Corian I had seen him use on a few of his AWESOME Projects He makes!!!! His Work Just Amazes ME!! He sent me a pretty good size bag of pieces for me to use, all out of the goodness of his heart!! LJ’s is the BEST!
Well, I made this one for my daughter and she loves it!! I took it and showed it at My first show and people seemed to really love it!
I really like this stuff and plan on using it in a few more projects too.. Maybe some cuff link’s or a ring out of Wood and Corian??
I do not use a lathe this is done buy hand and My trusty Dremel tool..This stuff carves like a charm!!
I hope I can find this in a few other colors like Green or Red… Maybe even Black!
I hope you guys and gals enjoy!!!
If you get a chance stop in and say Hi to Jim, He is one heck of a Craftsman and an even better Person!!!
Thanks again, JIM!!!

Robert you have really made some beautiful rings and this one is no exception.

You should look at Paperstone material for your work too. It cuts easily but does not have the mineral content of other counter top materials. They have decent prices on cut offs and many different color/color combinations. Let me know if you want a sample I have some 1/2” black pieces left over from one project.

I hope you are being careful when sanding/cutting Corian as it can really cause some breathing difficulty.

Great ring as usual. I don’t believe you could make a bad ring.

Wow! Jim, Thanks!! That means a lot!!
I am glad you liked it!
Yes, I would like to have more and different colors, But I can’t let you give it to me for free.
So if you get some more and different colors, we will have to figure out a price for me to pay.
If you do get anymore, before you cut it can you contact me?
Thank you again, Jim!!!
It’s Artist like you, that keep me going and striving.
