I started making these about 15 years ago most are for family members. These are made from construction grade 2”x8” pine and I can get most from the lumberyard cut off pile for FREE. The Original pattern was a relief carving pattern that was published in a woodworking magazine. I do not know which magazine nor do I remember the author JUST that I did NOT make this patter. I did modify it to use a router to make the self- framing version you see here and on some make cut outs with a scroll saw. The leaf detail are individually made with a Dremel and .
the names , date and heart are wood burned .

Cool concept for remembering great memories for couples. Great design, has very nice textures on wood. Great job!
