Walnut rolltop desk just finished by my mentor Mick and I. Wood is from a tree in the front yard of the customer.
Largest project I have been involved with, and quite a learning experience.

Walnut with laquer finish.

Great looking desk, i like it done in walnut.
I have always wanted to build a roll top, and i now have a big enough supply of quater sawn oak to do with, but i don’t have room in the house for it when i get it done. I guess i have to get rid of some of my other projects i have built over the years and just didn’t want to part with.
