OK, this is about as simple of a “wood” project that you can make, but it was fun to do a project with my wife. She made the board and a bag for the pieces and then took it to her preschool. The kids LOVE this. The X’s are simple 1/2 lap joints. The O’s I made on the drill press with a couple different size hole saws.

Jay, Great project it may be simple but it will bring great pleasure and that is one of the cool things about woodworking. Great that you could work on it with your Wife as well. Some of my favorite projects are joint projects with my wife.

Neat game! Like the idea that it can be kept and easily stored in a bag. What a great husband and wife team!
