Trophy I built for my office’s annual chili cookoff. The bowl is turned from walnut segments and the base is a mitered cherry box.
It’s hard to see in the picture, but there is a layer of 1/4” bloodwood inside the bowl. I was planning to stick a few turning blank cutoffs on the bloodwood, yaknow, for flavor, but I ran out of time.
And the bomb, well, how could I resist?
