Is that a wheel-gauge blade on the end? Also, love that maple-it's a beautiful gauge!

Yeah, its a round gauge blade. I fought trying to make a home made blade out of all sorts of materials, but failed miserably. Went to Woodcraft and they had those in stock for $3 i think. sold.

I love those wheel gauges because they don't drag. I never thought of putting one on a traditional gauge, but I think it's an excellent idea.
