Along with the tool set I made for the kiddo, I made a few other things. This is the rocking horse. I found the plans online and modified them to fit the lumber I had. It turned out pretty well, but needs a good deal more sanding and finishing to get to the level I’m normally happy with it. Part of me says its a rocking horse he’s just going to beat up. It’s made of a board of 8/4 cherry that I picked up but had no use for it, left over walnut from my grandfather, tiger maple for the “hair” and some leftover spalted maple I had for another project.
