I got a new Table saw (Delta 36-979) along with a Freud Fusion / Freud dado set – so I needed a project that would put my new saw to the test. Ok- actually my wife liked this and wanted it made – Its about half way done and is my second project working with Oak. This time I’ve taken the time to prefinish shelves before install, I’ve used blue tape to keep glue from spreading into cracks, and my new Besy clamps to make sure this thing stays 90 degrees true at all corners. I’m planning on adding a dovetail box to the bottom shelf- a slight design change. I also have tried for the first time – Tennons for the door. Not too hard after building a simple tennoning jig and the new dado blade! I’ll add the last pic when its done! Ben
