Hi all! First post here on Lumberjocks but I have been lurking a while and looking at all of the nice things that you guys and gals make. I’m fairly new into woodworking myself but I certainly have a good family history of woodworking to live up to. Sometime when I visit I’m going to have to take some pictures of a few of the projects my Grandpa has completed and post them here. They really make me appreciate all of the possibilities for DIY work if you have some tools and patience. He actually gave me a hand with these tables in fact, since I don’t have a table saw and I wouldn’t have been able to cut the table legs very accurately with my current tools.
Anyways, about the tables. These were completed with a (borrowed) table saw to cut the legs, circular saw, router, chisels, and some sand paper. I was able to get the tile cut where I bought it and then I cut the hole in the top to fit the tile. The wood is red oak finished with polyurethane.
