Arched jewelry box

Bent laminated white oak frame and curved panels. Not too hard once you make the forms. Something about making arched flat work fascinates me. Carcass and door frame are mortise and tenon. Door insets and drawer faces are bookmatched Gancolo alves. Feet are off of an antique clock.

I can see why it fascinates you given those lovely door panels.
Nice hinge work, great build. Very smooth.

Very nice looking jewelry box. Reminds me of the radio my dad use to play when I was a kid. Gancolo alves is a beautiful wood. Again, nice work.
