So i have a sawstop ics. The saw is 30” deep. All of the cast iron router table extension wings available are 27”. Luckily i have a friend who owns a machine shop. He milled me down a piece of steal to extend the wing 3”. It works flawlessly. I know its not made of wood but it helps me make stuff out of wood. It adds a ton of weight but doesnt tip the saw…..until i put anything with any weight on that side of the saw. I built a little cabinet to protect my lift and give me some drawers for bits. Its on casters and mounted under the saw so i can still move the saw around really easily when i need to. It turns out i need to all the time. Anyway i hate the cabinet so im in the middle of rebuilding it.

I patched in the gap between the wing and main table with a laminate topped torsion box. The only thing i had to do to the saw to make it fit was cut a notch in the front rail for the slide rail. no biggie with a grinder.
