Found out my Osteoporosis got worse by 5% this yr. Frustrated, but instead of heading to the bottle I decided to stay home and make a bottle stopper. haha.

Found some scrap walnut from making cutting boards and gave it a shot. Im just now learning to use a lathe. It is easy and hard all at the same time.

I used a CA Finish, and I think the gloss turned out well.

Thanks for the support & prayers.

Adrian

Looks good! Turning bottle stoppers is almost as addictive as what is in the bottle!

I use a friction polish. It is easier to apply than CA and a bottle stopper doesn’t need as durable of a finish as a pen. Give it a try.

Beautiful bottle stoppers! Like the gorgeous walnut and shapes and great finish.

Have your say...
