Making some end grain cutting boards and the photos show the evolution of the process. I am 90 percent complete and will post some additional photos once the final glue up is done and the finish is applied. The lumber used is : purple heart , cherry , walnut , and maple. I used usda approved glue to make sure it is safe for food contact. It measures about 14×18 and a full 1in in thickness.

Looks like it WILL BE a very nice project, once completed…..
