Sin, there are many different ways to make beads. The way I prefer is with a machine I built based on other things posted on LumberJocks. Check out this link http://lumberjocks.com/projects/68786

I started with different sized pieces so mine are all different sizes by choice. If you put in stock that was exactly the same size they would probably be slightly different sizes but pretty close. I hope this helps.
