I tried my hand at making a ring. I have some Padouk, so I cut off a lil’ block and made this ring at the bandsaw and sander. It was fun.

How thick is it? I am thinking about trying it the easy way with a drill press and hole saw. I like the grain in that one.

Nice! I like to do the bentwood style or lamination style for strength though, solid rings tend to break.Nice first try, keep it up!
