My first Mallet.

I’m not sure if this is the most beautiful thing I’ve made, but it works.

It’s made from hardwood terrace planks

This is a project I have been thinking the past few days, but I can’t deside on the type, design, size… still working it in my heat, it will pop-out soon hahaha

Your mallet looks nice though and if I’m not mistaken is that hardwood deck that you used on its sides?

Looks good and it works, can’t beat that. I have wanted to make one of these for a while now, but have not gotten around to it. Thx for sharing

Yours is far better than the one I made for myself. I haven’t posted pics because its simply too flawed.

I wouldn’t want to give folks the right impression;-)

“Deck” that’s the word. Thanks Steliart. Yes hardwood’s are hard to come by in Denmark, but in the recent years there been an increasing import of planks for decks. Most of it is Asian hardwood. And they make them with these grooves on one side.

Yea, thought i recognized that deck, I have some in my shop saving it for my vise, but think it’s enough for a mallet too together with some big chunks of oak, but still undecided on the type and design LOL
Once again good job man
