These are made of white cedar.

They can easily be fitted with a plastic tray to become a planter; or left this way as a “pocket accumulation” collector.

The plain one has no metal in it at all. Used barbeque skewers as pins. The other used finishing nails.

The hardest part of designing was getting the handle angle right. It turns out to be at about an 87 degree angle.

The actual total length of these is 14-15 inches each.

The fence boards are very inexpensive and work out well.

These are cute! Are they made from recycled(used) fence boards or repurposed(new)? Thanks for sharing.

Cool build! Like to decorate them in the living room, very nice rustic look.
