This is a wedding gift for my youngest niece. Inspired by http://lumberjocks.com/projects/83867 thanks bazz!
I had the letters finished in time to be shipped however it just seemed to want something… more. Finally settled on the base with the wedding date scrolled into it. All made from 1/2” red oak. Countersunk screws hold the characters in place. Finished with lemon oil and spray lacquer and peel and stick cork feet. Signed the bottom with a sharpie and finally got it shipped yesterday. I had computer issues between the ‘B&S’ and the base, so the fonts are different. I was satisfied with the final product and hope Brianna & Shane are as well. Comments are welcome. Thanks for looking!

I think that it looks very nice and that it will be appreciated.

Thank you all for looking and commenting. Dust4tears, that’s what I thought when I saw Bazz’ letters. Bazz, glad you approve of the addition. Charles, I am anxiously waiting to hear!
