This is a banister I just finished. The customer is doing some remodeling and needed a hand rail at the bottom turn of the stairs. She had a piece of mahogany sitting in here back yard, 6” sq and 10’ long, that she wanted to use. What a surprise, genuine ribbon mahogany. I hated using it on a set of stairs, so I really went over the top with the design. The center square is ash.

love the design man. really cool looking. it kinda looks like the national geographic symbol. ha ha. what kind of finsh. that ribbon pops man.
